The Ben Sherman Company originated in Brighton, England, in 1963. Ben Sherman started out as a shirt maker. It later became one of Britain’s top clothes designers during the swinging sixties, to help develop the famous Mod look. Ben Sherman set up shop on Carnaby Street in London and is now a complete lifestyle brand. The company offers a line of men’s footwear from formal shoes to contemporary sports shoes and sandals. The shoes are geared more towards fashion than they are towards performance, but are strong, durable and lightweight. Ben Sherman makes shoes in various materials, designs, colors and sizes with the Conquest and Beach Hut being two of the more popular athletic shoes.
