You will need to dress to stay cool and dry in competition, but at the same time it should allow you freedom of movement. There is a wide variety of apparel available. Most male badminton players wear a polyester or cotton short sleeved shirt and shorts and most women wear a short sleeved shirt and a skirt. If you do not feel comfortable wearing skirts, shorts or short sleeves, you can also wear a track suit or sweat suit.
