All About Pitching Machines

An ideal way for baseball players to improve their swing and hit technique, or field drills, is to have them face hundreds of balls thrown at them by a portable pitching machine. The pitching machines can throw any type of pitch both left and right handed. They throw curve balls, sliders and fastballs for batting practice and line drives, pop ups and fly balls for fielding practice. The machines can be adjusted for accuracy and speed and can throw the ball at about 90 miles per hour. They are made out of steel and have wheels for easy transport and adjustable legs. Some models use 110 volt current, while others run on a 12 volt battery. Pitching machines aren't much use without a ball feeder, so it's recommended that you hook one up to the machine and plug it in as it holds multiple balls.
