The origin of billiards is unclear, but we know it was played in France and Britain, in the 15th century, with Louis XI and Louis XIV being avid players. There are many types of games you can play on a billiard table, including glow in the dark pool. Although, it may be expensive at first to purchase a table, along with balls, cues and accessories, if you take proper care of the equipment it will last for years. Because of the cost of the equipment, billiards was originally known as a game for the rich, but with the introduction of pool halls and hotel coin operated tables the game can be enjoyed equally by people of all backgrounds.
