All About Cue Racks

It doesn't matter if you are Minnesota Fats or just playing pool for the fun of it, you still need a rack to store and protect your cues. The most common types are wall racks and floor racks. Wall racks are generally made of wood and come with built in scoreboards. They hang on the wall and hold various numbers of cues, usually from about six to 12. Floor racks or stands are also usually made of wood and can hold about a dozen cues. Like wall racks, they can be very decorative in design, often incorporating marble, glass or wrought iron. They can be placed in room corners, up against a wall or stand alone. Most racks can also store balls and chalk.
