You can't bowl without any pins; it's as simple as that. The sound of balls crashing into them and echoing around a bowling alley is music to any bowler's ears. Bowling pins are made out of wood, but the bottoms have a piece of plastic bonded to it. The wood is cut, shaped, molded, laminated and inspected before being ready to use. While bowling pins are used mainly for sport they are also becoming popular as decorative art pieces for the home or office as they are now being hand painted with various colored designs or logos on them. No home is complete without an Elvis bowling pin.
