Flying discs may be better known throughout the world by the trademarked name of Frisbee. Flying discs are basically circular discs, usually made of plastic, that are about eight inches to ten inches in diameter. Flying discs are designed to fly aerodynamically when thrown by your hand, with a flick of the wrist. Because of the popularity of these discs, certain sports incorporating its use have been invented, namely: ultimate discs, freestyle discs, flying disc golf and disc dog competitions, where dogs are judged on their disc retrieving and catching skills. It's one of the cheapest sports around as all you need is a plastic flying disc. There are also some other games involving flying discs and there's sure to be more in the near future.
