Gaelic football is mainly popular in The United Kingdom and Australia and its rules are similar to Australian rules football. You can score points by shooting the ball past the goalkeeper or by shooting the ball over the net and between the extended goalposts, much like a field goal in American football. The ball used is round in shape, similar to, but heavier than a soccer ball. The game is played on a field similar to a rugby field, but it's quite a bit larger; 130 to 145 meters long and 80 to 90 meters wide. It's a relatively inexpensive game to play as players wear very little padding.
