Handball is a court game, similar to racquetball and squash, which can be played individually or in small teams of twos or threes. The ball is hit against walls by the players' hands and it must be returned by the opponent before the ball bounces more than once. The game isn't as popular as it once was but it's still enjoyed by men and women around the world as a great way to get or stay in shape, while being competitive. It's also an inexpensive sport as the only equipment and protective gear needed is gloves, balls, a good pair of shoes and eye goggles.
