It's sometimes easy for hunters to become disoriented and lost in the woods, plus hunters often get nicks and cuts from tree branches, so make sure you always take a long a first aid and survival kit. You should take along sunscreen if it's summer, along with insect repellent, a knife, flashlight, waterproof matches or a lighter. Make sure you take food and water along with your first aid kit. You should also pack extra clothing items, such as a windbreaker, socks, gloves, hat and blanket. You should never go hunting without a map and a compass, and if possible take along a cell phone.
