If you're inline skating for recreation, fitness or just the fun of it then you should wear what you're comfortable in, as long as it doesn't restrict your movement. Be sure to dress for the weather conditions though, as you want to stay either warm and dry or cool and dry. Don't forget gloves and hats on cool days. If you're involved in speed skating you should wear aerodynamically designed lightweight clothes for maximum speed. These clothes should fit you snugly or tightly to cut down on drag and resistance and should keep you cool. If you are competing, make sure you know all of the clothing regulations. Clothing comes in various materials, styles, designs, sizes and colors.
