All lacrosse players are required to wear protective gloves and although they are similar to ice hockey gloves, those may not be worn. Gloves are made out of leather or synthetic materials. The gloves may not be altered in any way or have extra padding inserted. The gloves should be lightweight, but strong and durable, and well padded in all areas including the wrists. They should also be flexible to allow you full range of motion and have linings that will soak up moisture to keep you cool and dry. Gloves come in various materials, sizes and colors and are available in men's and women's models.
