This is a sport enjoyed throughout the world by men and women of all ages. It's an easy game to learn and play and is considered a social sport. You can play individually or in teams and there are many lawn bowling clubs around to join if you like to compete a little more seriously. It's an inexpensive game to play because all you need are the bowls, a bag to carry them in and an adequate pair of shoes. It's similar to bocce ball and petanque because you try to roll the balls closest to a target ball. It's an ideal game to play on a warm summer afternoon.
