Since most people will be playing lawn bowling outside you will need a pair of shoes that give you good traction on the grass. If you are playing at a club you will have to check their rules and regulations on footwear as they won't want the green spoiled. Most clubs don't allow you to wear heels, so a good rubber soled running shoe is a good idea. Make sure your shoes keep you cool or warm as well as dry. Shoes come in various sizes, styles, materials and colors, but again, check with your club on any dress code before buying a pair. Make sure that your shoes fit properly and comfortably as you'll be doing a fair bit of walking.
