When racing a motorcycle it’s imperative that you protect your eyes from such things as: wind, dust, dirt, rain, insects and debris that can possibly be thrown from the bikes ahead of you. There are various types of eyewear for racing, including helmets with built-in protection and goggles. Your eye protection should let you see clearly to either side and be shatter-proof, fog-proof and scratch-proof. Make sure your eyewear has enough room for you to wear prescription eyeglasses or sunglasses underneath. Your eyewear should have an adjustable head band for proper fit and comfort and should also be cushioned against your face.
