There are a few items you can wear in paintball to protect yourself and make the game more comfortable. A padded vest is good to wear under your clothing or on the outside to protect your heart, kidneys and back. You may also want to wear elbow, knee and shin pads to protect those areas from tree branches or when you are crawling on rocks or getting hit etc. Goggles are mandatory and you need a pair that can withstand the impact of a paintball. They should protect the front side and top of your eyes. Masks are also available. Just make sure whatever you wear doesn't hinder your vision. Gloves are also useful.
