If you are playing petanque at a club it is always a good idea to check and see if it has a dress code, if not, then any type of clothing will do, such as shirts, sweaters, jackets, shorts, skirts and pants, as long as it keeps you warm enough or cool enough while playing. Make sure that whatever you wear doesn't restrict your arm movement while you are playing. It's always a good idea to protect your head from the sun or to keep it out of your eyes, so hats are often worn. Gloves may also be worn, but may hamper your game. Just remember to dress for the occasion.
