Skateboarders, like surfers, seem to have their own style of clothing and it's usually in the "anything goes" mode. Skateboarders often wear long baggy shorts or pants and shirts or hooded jackets with caps. Feel free to wear anything, as long as it doesn't interfere with your skating abilities. Make sure you dress for the weather though and keep your head and hands warm. If you are new to the sport it's a good idea to wear clothing that protects your arms and legs in case you fall off of your board. Don't be afraid to be an innovator and set your own style while skateboarding. Clothing comes in various materials, designs, styles and colors.
