It goes without saying, that all skydivers must wear helmets. There are helmets with full face shields and some without. Make sure your helmet is lightweight and fits comfortably and snugly on your head, so it doesn’t move around. Make sure you can see properly through it and that it is well ventilated to keep your head cool and to keep the shield from fogging up. The helmet must be well padded inside to cushion and absorb the shock of any impact and made of a hard outer shell. If you buy a helmet with a shield make sure you are able to wear glasses underneath it. Helmets come in various materials, colors sizes and styles.
