All About Snowboarding

This sport started to become popular in cold climate countries in the early 1980s. By 1998, it had quickly blossomed into an Olympic sport. You basically strap your feet into a specially designed board and glide across the snow and ice. There are two main types of snowboarding; racing and freestyle. Racers can reach speeds up to 45 mph on their boards. Snowboarding, like surfing and skateboarding, is often referred to as a lifestyle sport and is also considered an extreme sport in some instances. It’s not an expensive sport to enjoy as you only need the board and warm clothing and boots.
