Protective gear is available for snowboarding and if you are taking the sport to the extreme, it’s a good idea to wear some protective gear. You can get pads which protect your back, knees, shins, elbows, wrists and thighs. Most of the padding is separate, while some of it can be bought in padded shorts. Make sure the padding has adequate protection and that it fits well. The pads shouldn’t hamper your movement in any way. They should also be lightweight, strong and durable, but also flexible. Make sure the padding is well ventilated and breathable, so you stay cool and dry. Protective gear comes in various styles, sizes, colors and materials.
