All About Squash Eye Protection

Although a squash ball may be small and squashable, if it hits you in the eye at 125 mph it can do some serious damage. There’s also the chance of a wayward racket coming your way too, so you should never play squash without the proper eye protection. Most clubs actually make it a mandatory piece of equipment. You should get yourself a pair of protective goggles for playing. The eyewear should fit properly and be adjustable. If you wear glasses make sure the goggles fit over top of it. Make sure it doesn’t hinder your vision in any way. Good eyewear should have anti-fog, scratch resistant, water repellant and shatterproof lenses. They should be well ventilated and breathable to keep you cool during play. Eyewear comes in various styles, sizes, colors and materials.
