There isn't really a lot of equipment worn in the sport of team handball other than elbow pads and knee pads and another good choice would be an athletic supporter with a protective cup. The elbow and knee pads are made to slip over the elbows and knees and are usually made of neoprene or some other synthetic material with shock absorbing foam and it is covered with an abrasion resistant fabric. Athletic supporters are designed to protect your crotch and groin area and come with removable cups that are made of a hard plastic or composite material, for comfort it is lined on the inside with foam rubber.
