If you are playing handball just for the fun of it, you can wear anything you like. However, make sure your clothes give you the freedom to move properly and make sure you are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions if you are playing outdoors. In an organized game the goaltender must wear a different colored top than the rest of the team. During indoor games players generally wear short sleeved t-shirts or polo shirts, socks and shorts. The goalie often wears a sweatshirt while outdoors or they may wear long sleeved shirts and pants if it is cold. Make sure the clothing is well ventilated to keep you cool and dry or to keep you warm and dry if outdoors. Tracksuits, training suits and jackets are also common.
