It's pretty hard to water ski if your hand won't fit or grip the handle properly, so make sure you get a handle that suits your hands. You need one that has a good grip, so it should be made of molded rubber, plastic or something similar. The handle should be strong and durable and sealed properly so water can't get in it and sink it. Beware of aluminum based handles as water often gets inside them because they are hollow. Handle diameters usually range from 1 inch to 1 ΒΌ inches and the lengths range between 11 inches to 18 inches.
