Feel free to wear whatever you like while windsurfing, as long as your clothing doesn't hamper your movement or get caught in the equipment on the board. A wetsuit is a good idea no matter what temperature the water or air is, as it will keep you warm and will protect your body from the sun and possible abrasions from climbing on your board. Make sure you get a wetsuit with adequate room in the forearms and shoulders. Windsurfing wetsuits should be a little looser than surfing wetsuits. A pair of booties to protect your feet and keep them warm may come in handy, as some surfing areas have rocky bottoms. You should also keep your head and hands warm in cold weather.
