Wrestlers spend a lot of time with their knees on the mat and that can often be uncomfortable or painful, so a set of knee pads is a good idea. The knee pads basically slip over your knees and they are made of a flexible and lightweight material. The two main features of a good set of kneepads are padding and moisture control, so make sure your pads give you enough cushioning and don’t hold moisture in, as you need to keep cool and dry while competing.
